Ciudad Valdeluz

2009 (work in progress) aided by the Foundation Cultural Fund of the VG BildKunst.

The Ciudad Valdeluz, close to Madrid, planned on the drawing board during the Spanish construction boom as an exemplary modern, young satellite city, conceived for 30.000 commuters, has become a ghost town after the economic crisis – only 500 people followed the advertising promises of the real estate companies. As a result these lost bit by bit the interest in the project and left the remaining building projects incomplete.
